All content posts go into the _posts/ folder. Out of the box, Party on, Garth! is configured to use markdown or html. Posts are ordered based on the date in the filename, with newest date on top. Jekyll can be further customized using the Gemfile in root folder (or even within the _config.yml file), but keep in mind Github only supports a subset of gems.
Party on, Garth! is a Jekyllfied version of Grayscale, with easy customization and broken into components. It can be yours right now, simply download the template as a github archive or use git to clone it: git clone https://github.com/mediadoneright/jekyll-rockon.git. The theme is open source, and you can use it for any purpose, personal or commercial.
This theme features stock photos by Gratisography and background images found using internet search for images that were "tagged for reuse." There is also a custom Google Maps skin courtesy of Snazzy Maps.
Party on, Garth! includes full HTML, CSS, and custom JavaScript files along with SASS files for easy customization.
